Construction services have been the traditional and core business of PTJEL and JEL Group since our inception. PTJEL with JEL Group of Companies has more than 40 over years of experience in the construction of Power Plant, Petrochemical Plant, Cement Plant, and other Industrial Process Plant.

PTJEL’s construction teams are all specialists in their own field, with full understanding of the international codes and practices in the construction industry. The technical expertise and experience of our engineers and supervisors ensure the quality of workmanship and timely completion of the projects.
JEL Group has participated in more than 130 Power Plant projects with a combined generating capacity of over 50,000 MW in over 20 countries. Aside from conventional Coal or Gas Fired Power Plants, JEL Group is also an expert in construction of Combined Cycle, Cogeneration, Hydroelectric, Geothermal, and Diesel Generator and Waste to Energy Power Plants.
In the Industrial Plant sector, JEL Group has constructed various types of Up-stream and Down-stream Petrochemical Plant projects, including Ethylene Plant, Polyethylene Plant, Acrylic Acid Plant, Aromatic Plant, Alcohol Distillery Plant, Oxo-alcohol and MTBE Plant. JEL Group also constructed several very large Cement Plants, Fero-nickel Smelter Plant, Steel Mills, and Pulp & Paper Mill.

Power Plant
PT JEL´s Power Plant Projects began with works on Paiton Power Plant Phase I Unit 7 & 8 back in 1995. Our expertise in Power Plants soon spread and PT JEL was engaged in many other major Power Plant construction projects in Indonesia since.
With good track record in Power Plant construction industries, PT JEL extended its scope to EPC of Balance of Plant in 1994 with support of JEL Singapore. PT JEL and JEL Group in Indonesia today is one of the leaders in the field for complete Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Erection Works for all Power Plants. The types of Power Plants we have constructed include Coal-fired, Gas-fired, Thermal, Combined Cycle, as also Geothermal renewable energy source.
From our early days till now, PT JEL alone has completed more than 8 major Power Plant Projects in Indonesia, adding to JEL Group completed project of more than 130 Power Projects in over 20 countries.
Industrial Plant
From the early days since JEL Group built its first Urea Storage Plant back in 1972, Engineering and Construction of Industrial Process Plants have played a big part in the growth for JEL Group and PT JEL in Indonesia, marking good track record in Industrial Process Plants construction.
Our Indonesia’s Industrial Process Plants construction experience ranges from Fertilizer plants to Smelter plant to Petrochemical plant and to Cement plant.
Overall, JEL Group has completed more than 200 industrial plant projects in over 20 countries. Our expertise lies in project management, engineering, procurement, and construction.
Civil Works
PT JEL undertook Civil work contracts since its inception and by now has completed some Civil, Structural and Building projects of various sizes for Industrial Plants such as Distillery Plant, Smelter Plant and Coal Gasification Plant.
Since year 2010, a centralized PT JEL’s Civil Department was formed, its main role is to provide civil construction technique and jointly operate with PT JEL’s Power Plant Division and Industrial Plant Division for execution of civil related works. This is also one way of satisfying customer’s need of having a one stop shopping.

Fabrication
PT JEL specializes in the Fabrication of Exotic Materials like Inconel, Various Alloy Steels (P11, P12, P21, P22, P91, etc), Normal/Low Temperature Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel Materials. Our Fabrication Shops serve a variety of Industries, including Oil & Gas, Power, Petrochemicals, Material Handling and Cement Plants.
In the recent years, PT JEL has focused on its fabrication activities mainly in Pipe and Pipe Support, Steel Structure fabrication which is to complement our Erection Subcontract.
Our scope of services includes Detailed Engineering, Material Supply, Various Fabrication works, Blasting & Painting, Skid/Module Assembly/Packaging, Electrical & instrumentation (include Engg) and Shop Pre-commissioning Works.
Welding Process: SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, SAW & FCAW.
The range of products vary from Fabrication of Pipe, Pipe Supports, duckting, steel structure, etc.
With our parent JEL, the company had established regional Fabrication Facilities in Singapore & Thailand, currently operating the two workshops’ facilities: JEL Workshop (Singapore) and Thai Jurong Engineering Limited Fabrication Shop (Thailand).
The network of workshops is fully integrated and strategically located to complement JEL group´s regional and global activities. This provides an added advantage to respond to our global clients quickly and more competitively.
