MBTI Assessment and Team Building 1st Batch

As part of the path towards PTJEL’s Manager Development Program (PMDP), a selected number of staff were invited to attend the MBTI Team Building Training and Workshop located at Grand Zuri Hotel Yogyakarta from 9 May 2016 to 11 May 2016. The workshop was hosted by PT.Johnson Indonesia – a management consultancy and training center from Jakarta. A total of 8 staff from the head office and project site attended the workshop.

The first portion of the workshop was on MBTI where through this staff gleaned an insight into the various types of personalities and how they can adapt their communication, learning and working style accordingly to the person they interact with. The second segment of the workshop focused on team building which provided a framework for fostering relationships and driving positive change as a team.

MBTI is based on psychological attributes and is a useful tool to help determine differing strengths/weaknesses and the various types of personalities that one may encounter – be it in a workplace or outside. The main purpose of this workshop was to allow staff to gain deeper insights about themselves and how they may adjust their communication when interacting with other people of differing personalities.

Through this workshop, it has successfully bonded our staff and laid the groundwork for a stronger foundation between our staff in terms of teamwork and communication.
